The Material
Every MORPUNK piece begins as raw brass — an alloy valued across centuries of Indian jewellery-making for its warmth, weight, and workability. We source our brass locally, keeping the supply chain close to the artisans who shape it.
The Process
Our pieces are cast, filed, textured and finished entirely by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike — small variations in surface, weight, and patina are a mark of genuine craft, not imperfection.
The Finish
MORPUNK jewellery is available in natural brass, oxidised brass, and 18k gold-plated brass. Each finish is applied by artisans trained in traditional Indian metalworking. Gold-plated pieces carry a lacquer coat to protect the finish.
The Artisans
We work with a small collective of artisans, most based in western India. The relationship is collaborative — our designers and the craftspeople work closely to realise each piece, balancing contemporary form with traditional technique.
